Hey! I am Laura, a Talent Analyst looking for people in Colombia who would like to be part of our team as a Senior Data QA Automation Tester to work on a international project for a major player in the fast food industry
Responsibilities: - Test Development: Design and implement comprehensive unit and integration tests in Python, focusing on data science algorithms, models, and API interactions. - Automation of Testing Processes: Develop and maintain automation frameworks for efficient testing of data science applications, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - API Testing Expertise: Conduct thorough API testing, ensuring seamless integration and reliable performance of data science applications with external services. - Code Review and Feedback: Perform code reviews for data science projects, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. - Testing Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the data science team to develop and implement effective testing strategies that cover all aspects of functionality, performance, and reliability. - Bug Tracking and Resolution: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, working closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions. -Continuous Improvement: Continually assess and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA function.
Requirements for this challenge: - Excellent english communication skills, capable of articulating technical issues clearly and concisely. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong background in Python programming and API testing. - In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, including unit and integration testing, test automation, and CI/CD practices. - Experience with tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Postman, and other relevant QA software. - Familiarity with data science concepts and workflows is highly desirable. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
