We are looking for a great Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and support our client in delivering new eCommerce functionality to one of the worlds leading premium automotive OEMs

As a Senior Software Engineer you’ll have a well established career in software engineering, with a strong theoretical foundation of engineering principles and practices and apply this to your work, provide technical leadership and mentoring within your teams, and demonstrate a passion to learn and have a personal responsibility for your work.

The tech stack for this role is as follows: Typescript, GraphQL, React

You have deep knowledge of engineering theory and systems design, and can set an example at writing quality, performant code as well as leading with knowledge and providing technical coaching to support members in your team.

You demonstrate high levels of ownership and personal responsibility and have the ability to support the wider team with completing tasks and can be a significant contributor and often assume leadership in technical discussions and debate.

We expect this individual to have excellent communication skills, especially with other developers on the team as well as with Product Owners and Scrum Masters on the client side. This person will be expected to step into a lead role on the team within the next 18 months
