Job Description:
CI&T is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to join our team in Colombia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with software development teams, running agile methodologies, leading multiple teams, and coaching Scrum Masters and Product Owners. Additionally, the candidate will handle hiring and staffing for new teams, ensuring we have the right talent to meet our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple software development teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Implement and oversee agile methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. - Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Squad Leaders and Project Managers, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles. - Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging continuous improvement and professional growth. - Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable plans for the teams. - Ensure alignment of team activities with organizational goals and objectives. - Monitor and report on team performance, addressing any issues and implementing corrective actions as needed. - Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and open communication within and across teams. - Handle hiring and staffing for new teams, ensuring we have the right talent in place. - Communicate effectively with clients, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction with delivered solutions. - Implement and monitor development, quality, productivity, and application health metrics. - Perform integrated management of the ecosystem, integrating different partners and stakeholders. - Availability to travel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Background in software engineering. - Proven experience in managing and leading software development teams. - Extensive knowledge and practical experience with agile methodologies. - Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with experience in developing Scrum Masters and Product Owners. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. - Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members. - Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
Nice to Have:
- Proficiency in Portuguese.
