Location and Flexibility

This is a hybrid role, which we’ve termed Work from Near (WFN). You’ll work on-site from either our São Paulo or Porto Alegre office at least three days a week and have the flexibility to work remotely for two days a week. Our WFN culture is designed to foster in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members local and visiting from other global offices.

The Opportunity

As a mid-level iOS engineer at our company, you will work independently on iOS platforms and avoid over-architecting features/stories/bugs. You will refactor existing code to improve maintainability and articulate improvements. You will also contribute to overall design and estimates given client and platform constraints. Your successes in prioritizing and breaking down problems for self and others will be supported with your past experience in iOS development. The ability to effectively communicate solutions and needs to technical and non-technical people is expected, and you will also be expected to teach junior team members how to debug effectively.


  • Write code and tests to fulfill project requirements, with oversight from senior team members.
  • Participate in system design activities, offering solutions and asking clarifying questions.
  • Write secure code, update the code base when new vulnerabilities are found.
  • Assist in the implementation of basic logging and error handling.
  • Contribute to documentation and suggest improvements to delivery processes.


  • 3+ years iOS development experience
  • Deep understanding of the iOS platform, including experience with multiple frameworks, languages, or patterns.
  • Strong ability to refactor code and improve maintainability.
  • Experience implementing delivery pipelines for iOS applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate client needs into software solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an "always-learning" environment and share new learnings with the team.

  • Experience teaching more junior team members how to debug effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote and contribute to a safe and equitable working environment.
  • Track record of expecting ambiguity and creating clarity in complex situations.
  • Experience documenting build, test, and release processes effectively.
