ApplyHola! SunDevs Inc is a 7 year old company that started in a small Colombian town in Latin America, and is now present in the US with clients across North America. We have two main business lines: (1) Staff Augmentation through Nearshoring and (2) Digital Transformation Projects.
We have a great team working already with North American companies, with the majority being engineers, developers, and product designers. Cinemark and Cafe Rio are two of our biggest clients that we work with from both business lines.

This specific role will be focused on the Staff Augmentation business line by helping us support & develop the talent we have placed in our clients companies.

Objetivo del cargo:
Comprende muy bien los distintos tipos de prueba y sabe diseñar e implementar casos de pruebas manuales y automatizados efectivos. Es capaz de abordar y entregar tareas bien definidas de manera confiable. Se comunica oportunamente y resuelve los obstáculos la mayoría de las veces por sí mismo. Ya puede empezar a dar estimaciones mucho más acertadas en cuanto a tiempo y el esfuerzo que le toma diseñar e implementar un caso de prueba. Pruebas de calidad en ambientes de app movil, website y kioskos y documentacion de casos de prueba
Tech stack (must to have):
Ciclos de pruebas. Conocimiento en herramientas de tracking como jira, monday, alm, etc. Zephyr. Conocimientos en los distintos tipos de pruebas. Conocimientos en metodologias agiles. Saber leer y escribir en ingles.
Tech stack (nice to have):
Conocimientos en pruebas automatizadas. Tecnicas de documentación.
Funciones asignadas para el cargo:
Implementar a tiempo todos los casos de pruebas que le sean asignados por su líder de equipo u otros QAs, SDETs con mayor experiencia.
Buscar de manera diligente y con la ayuda de su líder de equipo y/o compañeros como solucionar cualquier cambio o problema que se le presente que impida el cumplimiento de sus tareas asignadas a tiempo.
Atender de manera puntual a todas las reuniones programadas por su líder de equipo u otros desarrolladores senior.
Notificar rápido y oportunamente a su líder de equipo o gerente de proyecto acerca de cualquier cambio o riesgo que pueda afectar el cumplimiento de sus tareas en los tiempos definidos.
Atender a las reuniones 1:1 con su líder de equipo.
Documentar los casos de prueba de manera detallada para que otros QA puedan replicarlos.
Diseñar y Ejecutar casos de prueba manuales que detecten el mayor numero de defectos.
Documentar y comunicar de manera detallada (todo el paso a paso) los defectos y errores encontrados al correr los casos de pruebas de tal forma que los desarrolladores puedan replicarlos.
Desde el inicio y durante todo el proceso de desarrollo, colaborar con los ingenieros de software, gerentes de proyecto, gerentes de producto, ingenieros de QA, SDET, etc., para crear estrategias de pruebas que garanticen la calidad de las aplicaciones y los productos de la empresa.
