Senior Backend Python Developer
Gorilla Logic is looking for a senior backend python developer, who will work with a team of engineers developing our client’s system. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong development experience in delivering leading-edge solutions. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
Responsibilities
*Responsible for code development, review, and testing. *Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. *Experience with Scrum/Agile development practices. *Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. *Demonstrated ability to learn, adapt and work independently. *Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Technical Requirements *B.S in computer science or equivalent education required. *5+ years solid experience in Python for backend software development. *Solid SQL database experience and skills. *Solid experience in API development using REST/SOAP. *Previous experience in API integration. *Experience in software engineering, testing and delivery of enterprise applications. Bonus Skills *Preferred domain knowledge of financial services. *Solid experience with RDBMS: Snowflake, Oracle database design *DevOps (Kubernetes, Docker) experience *Financial services or Fixed Income industry experience
