In this opportunity, we are looking for a Senior Web Developer to work with one of our American clients. This client is an expert in the IT expense management area. Providing clients and IT Leaders with complete tools to improve team efficiencies, have the ability to forecast spending, reduce cost across mobile, telecom, and cloud, etc. If you are independent, a great communicator, a problem solver, and have strong attention to detail, this is a great fit for you! What's unique about this job?

This client is an innovative, subscription-based software supplier of Technology Expense Management (TEM) and IT Finance Management (ITFM) solutions available natively through ServiceNow or as a SaaS platform. They assist businesses in managing IT assets and expenses associated with mobile, telecom (fixed / voice & data), and cloud. Furthermore, they contribute to increased efficiency through automated workflows and industry-leading services like UEM, lifecycle management, bill pay, procurement, and delivery.

Here are some of the exciting day-to-day challenges you will face in this

role: * Work on a small team of 3-5 web developers and engineers to estimate tickets, plan sprints, and organize project deliverables * Work with Account Executives to organize and deliver projects on time, with superb quality * Work with little oversight to deliver solutions for clients * Use designs and user stories to develop back-end RESTful or GraphQL APIs * Build secure, maintainable, and scalable back-end platforms * Track time spent on tickets and projects for billing purposes * Mentor less experienced software engineers * Using your breadth of knowledge and experience, gracefully challenge the status quo on technologies being used by the development team

You will shine if you have these:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
* 6+ years of experience with Front-end development 
* Well-versed in Node.js and Typescript 
* Proficient with Kafka and Docker 
* Experience with Nest.js 
* Experience with Kubernetes 
* Knowledge of GIT source control and branch management 
* Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodology 
* Familiarity with issue-tracking tools (JIRA) 
* Fluency in English 

It doesn’t hurt if you also have:

* Demonstrable experience building distributed systems using Kafka or other asynchronous toolsets
