As a Senior member of our team, your primary focus will be designing solutions to accelerate our transition from Monolithic Architecture to Microservices Architecture. This is a crucial role for our platform, as this effectively determines the speed of the adoption of our new solutions.

* Develop, release, and maintain the Achievers Platform and supporting services.
* Mentor junior software developers with varying experience levels.
* Collaborate with your colleagues, engage in design/architecture discussions, and share your ideas.
* Be hands-on with our codebase and deeply involved in code reviews.
* Use the right tool for the job. We love and use modern technologies/frameworks such as Microservices, Kubernetes, gRPC, PubSub, GraphQL, and many more.
* Continuously integrate clean, scalable, robust, testable code
* Bachelors in computer science or master’s in computer science or related field
* 5+ years of relevant experience
* Advanced/professional verbal and written English communication skills
* Experience working in an enterprise-level team environment
* Extreme curiosity to learn and keep up with the latest emerging technologies
* Ability to prioritize, plan and estimate technical work
* Proficient in at least one of the server-side languages listed: Python, PHP, GO
* Confident in data modeling and database design concepts. Experience in MySQL preferred.
* General Software Architecture knowledge and ability to evaluate software design tradeoffs.
* Existing experience in Event Driven Distributed Systems, Microservices Architecture and Cloud Technologies
* Preferably you have worked in an environment with a transition from Monolithic to Microservices Architecture (Breaking up the Monolith)
