Senior Web Developer (Vue)
Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior Web Developer, who will work with a team of engineers developing our client’s mobile application. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong mobile development experience in delivering a leading-edge platform solution. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
Responsibilities
•Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support production code •Translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code •Work with product owner and stakeholders to prioritize and scope projects •Responsible for planning, tracking, and reporting on work progress •Responsible for code reviews and delivery of high-quality maintainable code •Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment •Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members •Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills •Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Technical Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) •5+ years of web development experience •5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript including ES6, ES7 and Typescript •3+ years of experience with Vue.js •Experience with Vuetify Vue Material Deign Component Framework •Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX •Basic understanding of image authoring and web design tools such as any of the following: Photoshop, Sketch, and Illustrator •Cross browser/device responsive development experience •Experience with Agile and CI/CD best practices
Bonus Skills
•Cloud development experience with AWS/Kubernetes/Docker •Experience with Java and Spring Boot •Experience with JQuery •Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
