THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Junior Software Engineer to our Partners Integrations team in Brazil!

YOUR IMPACT

  • Incident Resolution and Troubleshooting: Play a key role in resolving incidents and troubleshooting in production, ensuring accountability for the deployed workloads

  • Proactive Enhancement: Identify recurring issues affecting production and suggest enhancements to elevate system performance

  • Collaborative Architecture Definition: Collaborate with mid/senior level engineers to define the architecture of integrations between Gympass and global partners

  • Innovation Advocate: Bring innovative solutions to the table, contributing to the long-term technical health of our integration journeys

  • Delivery Excellence: Ensure successful deliveries while promoting the sustained technical health of our systems

WHO YOU ARE

  • API Development: Proficient in developing RESTful APIs
  • Programming Languages: Experience with Typescript and Kotlin
  • Databases: Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL technologies, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB, with an understanding of common use cases and performance pitfalls
  • Event-Driven Expertise: Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers, such as Apache Kafka
  • Monitoring and Observability: Proficient in monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking tools (e.g., DataDog and Grafana)
  • Containers: basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are a must, as you'll be collaborating with diverse stakeholders and supporting partners worldwide.
  • Advanced English is required
  • Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Additional Skills: Experience with Kotlin and Spring is considered a plus
