Technical Lead

Gorilla Logic is looking for a multidisciplinary Technical Lead with exceptional web/mobile and backend development skills to work as a member of an Agile team responsible for building and maintaining our client's web and mobile applications. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

*Provide technical leadership to a cross-functional development team(s) *Collaborate with the Product Owner and Scrum Master, responsible for technical implementation decisions in support of requirements *Provide architectural leadership to the team and our client *Work with an agile team to build, maintain and optimize our client's applications *Mentor fellow developers *Work with DevOps and QA to build a quality focused CI/CD pipeline *Excellent English and communications skills required *Good Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Technical Requirements

*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience *5+ years of backend experience with Node *3+ years of experience with React and state management libraries such as Redux and MobX *5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript such as ES6, ES7 and Typescript *Professional development experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases *Cloud development experience with AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud *Demonstrated experience with bringing multiple products to market

Bonus Skills

*Experience with Python and frameworks such as Django and/or flask *Familiarity with modern architectural modalities such as microservices, serverless, JAMstack, event-based, pub/sub, and data streaming. *Experience with GraphQL *Container experience with Docker/Kubernetes *Experience with CI/CD *Experience with React native
