We need an English-fluent WordPress Developer , based in Latin America,
available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-
building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to
detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and

Responsibilities:
- Work with the development team to design and develop websites that meet the needs of the business and its customers.
- Implement SEO best practices to ensure websites are easily discoverable by search engines.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces, incorporating best practices in UX/UI design.
- Implement security best practices to ensure websites are secure and comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with websites and provide timely resolution.
- Implement testing and quality assurance measures to ensure the reliability and performance of websites.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements and translate them into functional design specifications.
- Develop multi-location website locator web applications for businesses would be beneficial.
- Keep abreast of latest techniques, and technologies, and online advancements and trends to keep the company's websites relevant.
- Update all projects in a project management system by closing tasks, logging time against tasks and updating notes in diary posts/conversations.
- Keep asset folders clean and searchable.
- Deliver projects on time with a high level of quality.
- Communicate with Sales, Service and Digital Marketing as needed to help answer questions and capabilities of developed websites.
- Be consultative on the company's capabilities.
- Provide creative briefs for all mockups delivered to Sales, Service and Digital Marketing so they can confidently present your design to the client.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in design and development and make recommendations for improvements to existing systems.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with website design.
- Intermediate proficiency with WordPress CMS, and theme design.
- Familiarity with PHP.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Excellent grammar and editing skills.
- Knowledge of website development.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously.
- Familiar with Bootstrap for responsive web design.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Familiar with web standards and cross-platform/cross-browser issues.
- Experienced in developing and testing across multiple browsers and devices.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite of applications and developing web layouts/assets using Photoshop and Illustrator.
Compensation:
- The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,000 - $3,500, depending on seniority and skillset.
- The type of contract is of Independent Contractor, through a payroll platform.
- The developer will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
